Hello my fellow flower fairies! I can’t wait to share lots of magical, tropical blooms with you! I just returned from beautiful Costa Rica which was full of so many colorful, joyful tropical flowers and endless inspiration. I knew the rainforest would be so lush and green, and I was so excited to be a mermaid and swim in the ocean, but I had no idea how wonderful all the tropical flowers would be and how many would be growing in the wild…

When I first arrived where we were staying in the Osa Peninsula (a wonderful, quiet, peaceful region in the south full of so many plants and animals!), the first thing I noticed from the boat was the wonderful floral scent ~ jasmine and ylang ylang and countless other blooms. It felt like I was in a fairytale being surrounded by so many flowers! I hope these magical blooms inspire you too…

But first things first! I packed lots of swimsuits and dresses and of course I had to bring all the sparkling flowers too, because I knew they would keep me happy and bright during a long day of travel (including a terrifying small plane!). Even though I wasn’t going anywhere that required dressing up, I believe in wearing beautiful, sparkling things just for yourself, because you can and they make you happy! Don’t worry about being too dressed up or standing out too much, it’s important to just be yourself! So off to Costa Rica I went…

Of course I immediately had to go for a rainforest walk and see all the bright flowers! There were so many beautiful hibiscuses and I had never seen orchids growing in the wild before - it was so magical! And the most vibrant pink and red flowering ginger was absolutely everywhere. I love this pink blossom, endlessly bright despite the rainstorm that suddenly arrived during my walk! But all the rain (summer is the rainy season in Costa Rica) meant that so many flowers were flourishing - it was a very good reminder that the grey days can make you even stronger and brighter and show you how sparkly you truly are! Because what are raindrops if not tiny glittering fairy sparkles?

Every day meant wandering along the beautiful coast full of palm trees and birds of paradise blooms or exploring the rainforest to discover a new flower - each time I went for a walk, I would notice a colorful bloom I hadn’t noticed before or spot a flower growing way up high or in an unlikely place. There were just so many plants and animals and trees and birds to observe and take in, the rainforest was full of endless life - it didn’t stay still for even a moment! Even the leaves of the plants were so vibrant with beautiful red and orange streaks. And magical butterflies were everywhere in all shades of blue, yellow and bright green ~ they would even flutter around the waves as I was swimming!

All the tropical flowers were so incredibly bright and just bloomed and bloomed, despite the rain and strong sunshine and heat, or being precariously perched atop a tree - these blossoms were always so colorful and strong. It inspired me so much to always bloom too, no matter the weather outside (because unexpected heavy rainstorms happen in real life too!) or where I am. I can always be my colorful flowering self and so can you!

I felt like I was at a tropical flower fairy garden party, always seeing so much bright and happy color even when I went for just a short walk. And these magical flowers reminded me too that sunshine always comes after even the hardest rain! I couldn’t wait to learn more about these beautiful blooms so I dove into two wonderful guidebooks (one about all the flora and fauna in Costa Rica and one just about orchids) and spent lovely afternoons sitting outside, listening to all the birds and dreaming up magical new jewelry inspired by all these tropical flowers…

There were so many new flowers to learn about and even the most beautiful flowering trees with lavender purple and pastel pink blossoms! My mind was full of colorful blooms in all shapes and sizes and I was so happy that I had packed my watercolors and big sketchbook…it was the most magical moment to sit outside on our porch, watching butterflies flutter by and dreaming up enchanting new designs full of all the color and joy of these tropical blooms. One of the things I loved about Costa Rica too was that it wasn’t just the flowers that were so bright, it was the birds and animals too - red, yellow and blue macaws, bright green tree frogs and the prettiest toucans. Everyone was so bright and full of color! I just knew that rainforest flower fairies would be extra colorful and magical. I loved imaging them getting dressed up with all the sparkle and shine for an evening soiree under the palm trees…

And aren’t these beautiful hibiscuses and orchids so amazing? They were scattered across our table at dinner one evening so of course I had to rescue them and put them in water so they would keep blooming for just a little bit longer! They were so pretty and I was so happy that the colors just matched perfectly with these sparkling blooms. These flower necklaces and earrings were inspired by the brightest tropical hues and even though I made them in New York City before arriving in Costa Rica, it’s like they found their flower friends…it reminded me of how when you are your true colorful self, you end up magically meeting lots of other colorful flower fairies!

And then one beautiful morning, it was time to say goodbye to magical Costa Rica - I visited all my favorite flowers in the rainforest again and waved farewell to the glistening hummingbirds and butterflies. But I was so happy that my enchanted garden would be waiting for me, because I had so many new flowers to grow full of all the tropical colors I had seen and loved…and I had so much joy from days full of sunshine, beautiful rainforest walks and shimmering butterflies that I couldn’t wait to sprinkle into these new flowers, so we could all have tropical blossoms that will always and forever be in full bloom, even when we aren’t lucky enough to be in Costa Rica!

On my first morning back home, I sat and had tea in my enchanted garden and said hello to all the flowers I had missed. I put the final touches of sparkle on the magical tropical flower fairy I had sketched in Costa Rica, dreaming of all the beautiful colors shining in the rainforest, the magical joy of the flowers after the rainfall and the glistening blue butterflies fluttering along the beach…I couldn’t wait to incorporate all this flower happiness into sparkling new flower jewelry full of extra color and joy!

And here’s the first new flower necklace blooming ~ sparkles and rainbows and lots of flower fairy magic are going into all of these shimmering petals! Hello my fellow flower fairies! I’m so happy that spring (and almost summer!) is fully in bloom and here to stay! It’s been a glorious, sunny month with lots of floral adventures to see all the beautiful flowers, which was so necessary and needed after such a cold winter. It seems as if everywhere I look, something new is blooming and a burst of color is popping up ~ pinks, reds, yellows, purples and every color of the rainbow is just dancing in the sunshine…these blooms make me want to dance too! So this is a looong Flower Fairy Newsletter ~ I just have so many happy blooms and floral adventures to share! So make a cup of tea and keep reading for cherry blossoms and tulips and all the springtime happiness…

One of my favorite things about this time of year, and one of the things that makes such a difference to my mood, is just seeing so much color every time I get out for a walk, even if I don’t venture that far. Those little pops of color and joy make such a big impact and can turn my whole day around ~ it’s the magic and power of flowers! It makes me so happy to see bright blooms when I’m having a long day or when the sky is grey, it’s like they pop up in those moments when we need them the most. And of course, I always have my sketchbook with me to dream up magical new flower jewelry full of all the joyful sunshine and happy spring hues so we may always have colorful blooms with us everywhere we go!

I hope you’ve been getting out for lots of walks too and spotting lots of blooms! There are so many beautiful flowers blossoming and so many close to home too if you just keep your eyes open…

And one of the best parts of these warm days is seeing the sparkling flowers I grow shimmering in the sunshine ~ I like to think that they absorb extra happiness and magic among the spring blooms so that when you wear them, you have that springtime sunshine and joy with you everywhere you go, no matter the season…I hope these magical blooms always brighten up your day and bring you so much color and happiness, reminding you that wonderful, beautiful springtime always comes after even the longest winter!

And whenever I’m wearing a sparkly bloom, I always find the prettiest flowers out in the world too…it’s truly flower magic! I know I always say this, but I think wearing happy colors makes you notice more color and happiness (and therefore flowers!) out in the world too. Whether it’s while wandering down a new street to meet friends for dinner or walking to get groceries, there is flower magic all around if you just keep an eye out!

And sometimes when you really need to brighten up your day, a larger floral adventure is in store! One cloudy Friday, at the end of a very long week, I adventured to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens to see the beautiful magnolias and cherry blossoms…I just needed lots of pink! And as soon as I arrived, the sun came out and these beautiful blooms started truly sparkling…we are so lucky that we get magical pink trees every year! It’s truly a fairytale in everyday life, one of those special moments that we can easily get used to and take for granted but once we stop to think about it, we realize how incredible it truly is…

And when rainy days come, because they do come in the spring (and that’s what helps the flowers grow, rain is just as important as sunshine!), it’s time to put on all your sparkling flowers and bring your own color and joy to the world! I love being home and growing my magical flowers and drinking tea and reading a fairytale or romantic fantasy, especially during those rainy days (literally or metaphorically!) but there are so many magical things out in the world too. Bright, vibrant flowers always encourage me to be bold and inspire me to get out of my enchanted garden and try new things…

I think putting on flower jewelry is like putting on colorful armor ~ it lifts my mood and also helps me feel braver, like a flower blooming brightly no matter what’s happening in the world around it. And wearing a bright and colorful bloom is like having a talisman of happiness and joy with me, reminding me to smile and be myself and bloom fully too…how do bright flowers make you feel? Speaking of wonderful and magical things happening, I thought that I would end up missing the cherry blossoms at the New York Botanical Garden this year because between the trees blossoming early due to the warm weather and life things and making lots of new flower jewelry, I was very late venturing to the gardens…but I got lucky and caught the last of the cherries with their petals falling from the sky like happy pink snow…they were so magical!

With my heart full and happy and completely inspired by these magical pink blooms, it was time to get back to my enchanted garden and dream up magical, sparkling new flowers full of all this springtime color, sunshine and joy! I hope these new blooms inspire you to starting blooming too and to be your full sparkling flower fairy self and share all your true colors!

Each shimmering flower begins with layers and layers of the brightest glittering fairy dust in every color of the rainbow as I paint each petal…the more color and sparkle, the better! These fairytale flowers bloom slowly, shimmering with lots of glitter and magic, and then it’s time to add all the rhinestones for even more color and joy, until each flower is like a sparkling rainbow…

And then another magical new flower necklace started blossoming with two shimmering flowers, sparkling and shining with different colors on each side…I can’t wait to see this one in full bloom, it’s truly fit for a flower fairy queen!

Hello from my enchanted garden! I’m sitting here drinking tea and dreaming about all the beautiful flowers that will be blooming soon…I can’t wait for fluffy pink clouds of cherry blossoms and sunshine yellow daffodils and rainbows of tulips! It’s so wonderful that no matter how long and cold and dreary winter is, spiringtime always arrives!

And what I love about this time of year (even though it’s still cold where I am!) is that glimpses of spring are popping through, no matter how small, bringing us lots of hope for brighter days ahead, and reminding us that more color and joy and sunshine are coming soon. And it’s the time of year for two of my favorite flower shows (sometimes you just need a whole array of bright blooms to drive away winter!) ~ the New York Botanical Garden Orchid Show and the Philadelphia Flower Show.

Going to these magical shows is the best escape from the grey days outside, you can immerse yourself in a magical dreamworld of flowers, a fairytale land where it’s always summer and everything is in full bloom and you’re absolutely surrounded by vibrant color…the perfect remedy to the cold! So of course I had to go on floral adventures to these beautiful shows and take lots of photos to share with all of you…

Just look at these beautiful orchids! Walking into the tropical greenhouse was like entering a magical fairyland, the air so warm and scented of blooms…and then I came across this townhouse completely covered in flowers and I truly felt as if I was in fairytale! I would love to live in this beautiful house, covered in lots of pink blooms…and there were so many more orchids to discover as I wandered along the tropical paths, draped in greenery and moss with these magical flowers blossoming from every crevice…

Being among these tropical flowers completely remedied the cold, grey day outside and felt like going on a vacation, filling me with lots of hope for warmer, sunnier days soon!

And when winter truly felt like it would never end, I woke up early to visit another magical flower fairytale land…The Philadelphia Flower Show! After a truly freezing adventure to arrive, I walked in and was immediately immersed in fantasy gardens complete with rose arches and flowering trees fit for a flower fairy queen! And there were fields and fields of tulips…it was a flower fantasy dream!

But I think the absolute best part was being around so many other flower lovers and admiring all the flowers together and being all dressed up in bright colors and florals and flower crowns…I met lots of flower fairy queens and it was just a wonderful, happy atmosphere ~ like being at a magical garden party!

This beautiful flower show was a long way from home but it was so, so worth venturing to ~ it’s always worth seeking out all the color, flowers, happiness and joy you can find, even if the journey is a little hard (and in this case, very cold!). I returned home with my spirits lifted and so much inspiration…

I couldn’t wait to start designing magical new flower jewelry to adorn us and make us feel all spring-y and colorful and bright, just like I did at these beautiful flower shows! Each petal of these new necklaces is glistening with endless fairy dust and rhinestones and lots of magic to turn you into a flower fairy queen no matter how grey it is outside! These new flowers will be perfect to wear as you’re dancing among the new springtime blooms…

So of course when I finished growing this sparkling new flower necklace and it just happened to be the first day of spring (yay!), I had to run outside immediately and photograph it among the very first tulips I saw blooming…

I hope my flower jewelry fills you with lots of happiness and color and reminds you that there are always flowers and joy if you just look for them! Even though the days are still chilly now, there are brilliant bursts of color and flowers popping through and blossoming regardless of the cloudy skies. That’s what I hope my flower jewelry inspires you to do too, to blossom and bloom just like the springtime regardless of what’s happening around you…because the world always needs more sparkling flowers!

Wearing bright blooms during these grey days helps so much too! If I don’t really feel like getting out and about on a rainy day, or if I’m having a particularly dreary Monday, putting on a colorful flower (or two or three!) helps lift my mood so much and gives me that little bit of sparkle I need to go do all the things I want to do…and it inspires me to be my sparkliest self too! The world truly needs more sparkle right now.

Also! I fully believe in getting dressed up and wearing all the sparkling color and shimmering blooms even in everyday life…it simply makes the day so much better! And it brightens up the days of those around you too. Errands are suddenly more fun when you’re dressed up like a flower fairy queen and it makes me so happy when someone stops me and says that my outfit brightened up their day too…flowers are all about spreading joy and what better way to spread it than to wear them? And I always return home in a better mood too!

I write each flower’s magical fairytale in a little golden book so you’ll always have it and know just how your special flower bloomed…and then I turn my flower fairy sketches into shimmering thank you notes ~ these fairies help fly your jewelry safely to you with an extra bit of magic! Hellllooo my fellow flower fairies! I hope you’re warm and cozy and surrounded by flowers wherever you are and that you had a very happy beginning to the new year! I’m sitting here in my enchanted garden and even though it’s so cold outside, I’m so happy to have this colorful space where I can grow all the sparkling flowers to keep us sparkly and bright even during the winter! I hope you’re all getting dressed up and wearing your shimmering blooms and that they’re bringing you lots of joy, even during these grey days…sometimes you just have to make your own sunshine!

I’ve been making myself get out more these past few months (it’s so tempting to always be cozy in my enchanted garden!) to find colorful flowers out in the world too, because there are always flowers to be found even during winter! These moments of color and joy have made all the cold and grey days bearable and have reminded me that there is always happiness to be found if you just look for it! Here are some of my floral adventures, how I’m staying warm (and bright and sparkly too!) and all the new flowers I’m growing (which will be in full bloom and ready to be picked from my enchanted garden (via my online shop!) on Monday, February 9th!)…including an extra magical rainbow flower! I hope you enjoy!

First things first when getting ready to go on a floral adventure in the freezing cold ~ you’ve got to wear all the sparkling blooms and bright colors! I truly believe that wearing colors lifts up your mood (especially during winter!) and the mood of everyone around you too ~ it makes me so happy when someone stops me and says my outfit made them smile! That’s the power of color and flowers and sparkle and getting dressed up like a rainbow on the greyest, coldest winter days…so pick all of your favorite flower jewelry and put it on ~ the more, the better!

And I know I’ve said it before but I truly do find more color and happiness out in the world when I’m wearing color too ~ maybe it’s easier to find more joy when you’re already feeling joyful! So I got all bundled up in the most colorful, sparkling, rainbow attire and ventured out to the New York Botanical Garden for a very cold floral adventure just as autumn was turning into winter. The landscape was grey and brown and I felt a little discouraged…perhaps I was a bit too optimistic about enjoying flowers this time of year! But the moment that I walked into the greenhouse (discovered by venturing through a beautiful grove of pine trees, I felt like I was in a fairytale!), it was as if I had stepped into a different world…the train ride and long walk had been worth it!

Because I was surrounded by the most vibrant, colorful, magical chrysanthemums in cascades of yellow, red and orange and the fluffiest, prettiest pink…it was flower heaven. Just look at these magical blooms!

After warming up with these magical chrysanthemums, I was filled with hope for finding even more beautiful blooms, despite the dreary day. Sometimes all you need is a little pop of color and joy to inspire you to move forward…and I’m so glad I did, because in a somewhat hidden and secret garden, entirely empty of all visitors on this blustery day, there were rows of rows of even more blooms! These flowers completely outshone the grey sky, adding so much color and warmth that it felt as if the sun had come out…

I hope these flowers are brightening up your day too, wherever you are! The bursts of color on such a cold day made me so happy and really lightened by mood and made me realize that just because I didn’t find what I was looking for at first (I must have spent two hours wandering around the gardens that cold and windy morning!) doesn’t mean it isn’t there..sometimes it just takes time! There’s always color, hope and joy to be found ~ what’s important is to just believe and keep going. And in the end, going on a floral adventure, or any type of adventure to find something you love, is always worth it!

And the best part is, you really don’t need to travel too far from home to find bright and beautiful things ~ you just need to keep an eye out wherever you are! It’s so easy to rush around and be busy and not notice the small, beautiful flowers and moments in your own neighborhood (especially when it’s so cold and you just want to hurry up and get inside!) but taking your time, looking around (and up and down!) guarantees you’ll see something wonderful and uplifting, even on the greyest days. After seeing all the beautiful flowers at the botanical gardens, I noticed more and more blooms on my daily walks ~ perhaps because I now had hope that flowers were still blooming this time of year! And having hope always makes the world seem brighter…

That’s what I want to share with my flower jewelry ~ a wearable bloom of color, hope and joy that will lift your spirits, make your day so much brighter and inspire you to notice all the happy, bright things around you too, even on the bleakest winter days. So perhaps that’s why the new flowers I’m growing in my enchanted garden are extra colorful, extra bright and extra full of glistening rainbows! I’ve been dreaming up these magical flowers to adorn all of us flower fairy queens and making them come to life petal by petal…

Every morning, as snow falls outside and cold wind blows, I sit in my enchanted garden with a warm cup of tea and I paint sparkling petals with magical fairy dust then adorn each one with endless rhinestones in every color in the world…the more color, sparkle and joy, the better! Next it’s time for adding lots of crystals, gemstones, pearls and extra flower fairy magic to beautiful chains of silver or gold so you can pick and wear these glistening rainbow flowers! Each one is entirely unique, just like you, and I love thinking about who will pick each shimmering flower and what adventures you’ll take it on…

Sometimes when it’s dreary outside, you just have to make your own sunshine and be your own rainbow, so I’ve been dreaming up even more glistening rainbow blossoms full of extra sparkle and flower fairy magic! I can’t wait to make these come to life too, with the happiest and brightest rainbow petals…there might even be an extra magical and sparkling flower fairy crown! Hello my fellow flower fairies! I've been busy in my enchanted garden, growing so many magical, sparkling new flowers (with extra rainbow shimmer!) to keep us happy and bright as the days grow shorter because sometimes you just have to make your own sunshine!

Speaking of making your own sunshine, getting dressed up and wearing all of the brightest colors (and the sparkliest flowers!) helps me so much if I’m feeling a little down…it truly makes my day better! And it somehow makes me find brighter and happier things out in the world too, or maybe I just notice those things more when I’m also wearing a colorful outfit. Either way, when I need a little break from growing magical new blooms, it’s so much fun getting dressed up like a sparkly flower fairy and getting out and about…I highly recommend it whenever you need an extra burst of happiness!

At first, I was so sad when summer ended and autumn arrived, but there is always color and joy (and lots of flowers!) to be found, you just need to venture out and look for it…every time I’ve gone on a flower walk (a walk to find beautiful flowers!) or visited one of my favorite gardens, there have been endless blooms and even new flowers bursting into brilliant color. I’ve been trying to capture all that beautiful color before winter arrives…let me show you all the magical flowers I’ve discovered, I hope they brighten up your day and inspire you to go find all the glorious color too! It’s there if you look for it…

Winter isn’t here yet and this is really the time to soak up all the sunshine and bright blossoms and just celebrate and dance and have fun (like the bees and butterflies are doing among all the gorgeous autumn flowers!). Even the trees are celebrating, getting all dressed up too in gowns of gold and crimson red jewels as the flowers share their last firework bursts of colorful blooms…autumn really is one of the best time for bright colors!

One of my favorite moments was visiting the New York Botanical Gardens early one morning and walking through a glorious garden full of sunflowers, blooming and blossoming and endlessly full of sunshine underneath the blue sky….it felt like being in a fairy wonderland! I think some of the brightest, biggest flowers bloom this time of year so we have something joyful and bright to carry us through the winter…

And then! I kept walking and discovered the most beautiful dahlias…truly some of the brightest, most colorful, wonderful flowers bloom in the autumn when you least expect to see brand new flowers. But there they were, so big and bright and giving me joy for the months ahead…a wonderful reminder that sometimes happiness pops up when you least expect it! And when you need it the most…

And I was so happy to see how my bright flower jewelry matched these blooms! I like to think that it soaked up some extra sparkle, sunshine and flower fairy magic while blossoming with the dahlias…

Dahlias have also been in full bloom at one of my favorite neighborhood gardens, the Jefferson Market Garden, where they’re simply bursting with color and joy even as the days grow cooler. Just look at how beautiful they are!

I’ve also come across some of the most magical flowers in the most unexpected places! One of my favorite moments was finding these beautiful chrysanthemums outside of an office building, it was like a miniature fairyland of rainbow hills! I put on the biggest flower necklace when I got dressed that morning, not for any special reason but just because I felt like being extra sparkly and needed some more color that day because I was feeling a little tired, and I ended up finding the biggest flowers, just like magic…when you wear flowers, you find more flowers ~ I swear!

I came back home to my own enchanted garden and started sketching shimmering new flower jewelry, full of all that color, sunshine and joy to keep us sparkling and bright even during the upcoming cold months! I hope these lovely flower fairies inspire you to shine your own rainbow colors no matter the weather or season or what is going on in the world around you…your true colors are magic and will brighten up your day and everyone around you too!

And then I started growing these magical new rainbow blooms, every petal glistening and sparkling with lots of glitter and rhinestones of course! And then I added even more color and shimmer and rainbow cascades of rhinestones to help remedy this colder season…chilly days just mean you need extra sparkle and joy! If you look closely, you can see that there are so many rainbow rhinestone details…

These flowers have been blooming and blooming, even through lots of stormy days, and these new blooms are making me so happy as I create them, I hope they make you happy too ~ grey days simply mean that rainbows are ahead! After each new flower blossoms with beautiful petals of shimmering glitter, it’s time to add even more rhinestones for lots of color and joy…

And soon these magical flowers will be blossoming upon beautiful chains of silver, gold, crystals, gemstones and pearls so you may pick and wear each one…and a very magical flower crown might be blooming soon too! Hello my fellow flower fairies! I hope you’re all having a wonderful summer and finding lots of time to frolic among the flowers! I love summertime ~ the long days full of sunshine and blue skies and endlessly colorful flowers dancing with bumblebees and butterflies…I’ve tried to soak up all of these happy days, getting up extra early to catch the soft morning light as it awakens the sunflowers and daylilies at the New York Botanical Gardens, going for long walks to see my favorite pink echinacheas even when the days are hot, sitting in my favorite garden and sketching new flower fairy blooms for us and then of course, coming home to my own enchanted garden to infuse all this summertime sunshine and joy into new flower jewelry full of endless happy color and sparkle!

Here are lots of magical flowers from these floral adventures and a peek at my new flower jewelry that is blooming and blossoming…these fairytale flowers will be ready to be picked in my online shop on Thursday, August 14th so you can adorn yourself with all the shimmer and joy during these wonderful summer days…and have something bright and happy to wear whenever you feel grey!

Now it’s time for all the magical flowers! Summertime has officially arrived (for me at least!) when I see all the beautiful pink echinaceas pop into bloom all over the city…they’re such a wonderful sight in this sometimes overwhelmingly grey and busy place, my spirits are always lifted when I see their pink petals waving in the breeze. So I just had to go on a special floral adventure one morning, getting up early and taking my morning tea with me to walk through Hudson River Park to find more of these flowers booming by the water…and there were more than I even imagined! All full of bumblebees and simply shining in the sunshine. It was magical to begin my day with a burst of pink flower happiness and blue skies, I could have stayed for hours among the blooms…

I love how strong echinaceas are too, they don’t wilt in the heat and they just keep blooming and blooming…their petals and beautiful centers are anything but delicate and they grow profusely, even in areas where it seems like nothing can grow ~ I love that! Such inspiration to be strong in who you are and bloom brightly even in difficult places. That’s what I aim to share with my flower jewelry too ~ strong flowers that are forever in bloom with the brightest hues that i hope inspire you to always bloom brightly too, no matter where you are!

Another wonderful reminder to always bloom brightly are these tiny yet super colorful blooms ~ something about so much color, sparkle and happiness somehow magically contained in a small flower is just so uplifting, it shows that happiness is always found in the little things and even when you feel small, you can still bloom. Flowers in nature never worry about being small, they just blossom and so can you!

There was a stretch of incredibly hot days the other week and I was feeling a little down from being stuck inside, so one morning I got up early to beat the worst of the heat and ventured to my favorite New York Botanical Gardens…

I ended up missing the earliest train and I was standing in Grand Central Station feeling dismayed and worried about getting to the gardens before the day got too hot when a very kind station attendant walked up and told me about a quiet waiting area nearby which I had no idea even existed. When I walked in, guess what?! The walls were adorned with the most beautiful wildflower murals. It was a wonderful reminder that you always somehow come across flowers whenever you need them the most, whenever you need a little glimmer of hope to brighten up your day. And there are always kind people to help out and point you in the right direction ~ I think that when your heart is open to flowers, you become open to more kindness too and end up coming across lovely people in addition to all the flowers! And maybe I was late to the garden, but I still had lots of lovely flowers to keep me company…

When I finally arrived at the garden, every bloom shimmered with dew and the sunlight was still soft and the whole world seemed so quiet, it seemed like I had the whole place to myself. I felt like a magical morning dewdrop fairy wandering through an enchanted floral kingdom. I came across the most beautiful daylilies, bursting into blooms of bright orange, red, pink and coral, as bright as the summer sunshine. My inspiration was instantly reignited and I couldn’t wait to grow new flower jewelry full of those colorful sunshine rays so we can always have summertime happiness with us during the colder months, on rainy days or when we’re stuck inside!

And then I wandered into the loveliest little garden blossoming with the prettiest pink, purple and blue hydrangeas, it truly felt like a magical world and I was so happy among the flowers. I hope my flower jewelry always inspires you to be your brightest, most colorful self too and frolic among the flowers and enjoy these long summer days and sing and dance and do whatever your heart desires!

I’ve been reminding myself to find beautiful blooms close to home too ~ sometimes you don’t need to go on a long journey, all you need is a quick morning walk to find lots of color and beauty to lift your mood for the day ahead. I always seem to find something new blooming or a colorful flower I hadn’t noticed before. I went for a walk the other morning to get tea and came across the most beautiful pink hibiscus. Looking at them made me feel like I was in a tropical wonderland!

And don’t worry if you don’t have a lot of blooms near your home, one of my favorite times to spot happy flowers is while doing errands and seeing a bright bouquet at the grocery store ~ flowers are truly everywhere once you start looking for them! And noticing them definitely makes those “boring” errands much better and brighter.

I’ve been taking all of this happy, wonderful, colorful summertime flower inspiration back with me to my own enchanted garden to grow magical new flowers…I’ve been sculpting each petal and then painting them with layer upon layer of the brightest, happiest glitter before adorning each one with lots of rhinestones…then each flower blooms upon a beautiful golden stem (aka the necklace chain!) with lots of crystals, gemstones and pearls for even more color and joy (and so you can pick and wear each magical blossom!)…

Here’s a little peek at some of these necklaces in full bloom with all of their rainbow hues…including a huge new flower necklace that’s almost as big as those pink hibiscus and a super magical, sparkling necklace blossoming with three of the most colorful sunflowers! Because sometimes you just need an enormous flower (or flowers!) to brighten up your day. There is also a shimmering necklace full of lots of tiny blooms, for when you want something more delicate that is still so bold and bright, just like the happiest summer blooms!

Good morning from my enchanted garden! It’s grey outside and the world seems grey too, with so much sad news every day, and sometimes it’s hard to continue creating during those moments ~ sometimes flowers seem insignificant and small. But then I remember how seeing a bright bloom, even during times I felt so down, would give me a burst of happiness and joy, even momentarily, and add a little more color to my day. So maybe growing bright flower jewelry, and adding what color I can to the world, will help a bit. And I’ve definitely learned that during these times, going on a floral adventure and visiting a beautiful garden (or even just getting out for a walk to find the flowers blooming in my neighborhood!) helps so much.

Flowers still bloom, the birds still chirp and butterflies flutter ~ it’s a much-needed escape into a more fairytale world, and I hope my newsletters and photos and the flower jewelry I create can be a bit of an escape for you too and that the color and sparkle can give you a spark of joy and a little strength (like a floral armor) as you go about your day. And I hope the world gets better soon, that we all spend more time gardening and creating art and watching the birds and getting dressed up and dancing, instead of fighting. Maybe it’s a utopia fairytale dream, but I think we have to try.

So here’s what I’ve been creating and here are the moments of joy I’ve been finding, even if I have to force myself to get out and about! But I’ve found it’s always worth it, making art and doing what we love and adding a bit of joy to the world is a very grounding remedy. And despite my frequent desire to curl up with a book and tea instead, making the effort to go on a floral adventure (even it if’s a bit of a journey!) always, always makes me feel so much better and I feel very lucky to be able to do so.

Perhaps these times call for larger, brighter, even more color and sparkling flower jewelry than ever before. So I’ve been growing a magical flower necklace with three glorious blooms (perhaps I somehow felt this was what we needed weeks ago when I began creating it), and it’s blossomed with endless layers of color and joy. Painting each layer of bright glitter and placing each rhinestone and creating rainbow upon rainbow across its petals has been a slow and beautiful process. Growing this new flower necklace has been my favorite thing to do in my enchanted garden each morning as I sit and have my tea, and surrounding myself with bright glistening colors has made me feel so much better ~ I hope this magical flower necklace brings you all the extra color, shimmer, sparkle and joy that you need!

A few weeks ago, I knew it was around the time that the magical rose garden at the New York Botanical Garden should be approaching full bloom, so I woke up early one morning and hopped on the train and I was so, so glad that I did. I was worried about being away from my enchanted garden, with so much new flower jewelry that I wanted to create, and what if the garden was crowded or the roses weren’t in full bloom yet or the train was a hassle? So many worries that instantly disappeared the moment I stepped into the garden and felt the early morning sun shining down among the bright green leaves and heard the birds chirping their hellos and saw the huge blue sky overhead. I was instantly transported to another world, so far away from the busy city and my anxious thoughts. The flowers beckoned and I couldn’t wait to explore…

I walked through the forest and across the meadows with all their new spring flowers and then I could finally see the rose garden blooming peacefully beneath me, from where I was standing atop a beautiful hill dotted with lilacs. This is always my favorite moment of visiting this beautiful garden ~ seeing (and smelling!) those beautiful bursts of pink and red blooms in the distance, especially among the early morning haze, feels like seeing a fairytale realm that you actually get to visit. I think I practically ran the rest of the way there, so excited to be immersed among the blooms. There were gorgeous waves of endless roses blooming in every shade of pink, red, coral, lavender, yellow and orange, blossoming in every direction I looked with so many glorious, winding paths among them…I could spend an entire day here and feel like I never saw the same rose or wandered down the same beautiful fairytale path twice.

I just finished reading a book about Beatrix Farrand, one of the very first garden designers in the early 1900s and definitely one of the first women to enter the profession, and she designed this glorious rose garden over a century ago. But due to budget constraints and the war and so many things, her vision was never realized and her dream rose garden slumbered like a flower bud yet to bloom. But then her designs were rediscovered and the botanical garden finally brought her vision of this fairytale world to life and I’m so happy they did. I wish she could see it! Perhaps she can. It's a truly magical place.

And the magic continued because I had the most wonderful surprise at the garden ~ the peonies were in full bloom too! I had never seen them here before, since they don’t bloom for very long, and it was just endless layers of fluffy pink fairytale blooms and they made me so happy! These pink floral clouds looked as if they were just waiting for a flower fairy to float down and curl up in their soft petals for a morning nap. It was tempting! Truly a pink heaven. They reminded me that we are always met with wonderful surprises when we decide to go on an adventure…

I hope this inspires you to go on your own dream adventures too, even if (especially if!) the world feels grey. It doesn’t have to be a big vacation, it can be near to home ~ I just hope you find some color and joy.

I left the botanical garden feeling revived and inspired and so happy to get back to my own enchanted garden and grow more bright blooming flower jewelry for us. I’ve been dreaming up new designs to make us feel like flower fairy queens, so we can create our own sparkling sunshine even on the rainy days. Jewelry and flowers don’t cure everything, but I think a spark of color and joy can carry us through a lot by lifting our spirits when we need it the most and i hope my flower jewelry does that for you!

Hello my fellow flower fairies! Spring has finally arrived with all the colorful blooms, lots of sunshine, blue skies and warm days and it’s making me so happy after a long and cold winter. I’ve had so much fun discovering all the beautiful flowers blooming and venturing near and far to enjoy the springtime blossoms! And of course, I’ve spent many happy hours in my own enchanted garden growing sparkling new flower jewelry full of all the springtime joy…here’s what I’ve been up to recently in flower fairyland!

Waking up and seeing the blue sky sparkling and the sun shining has made me jump (and sometimes dance!) out of bed and go see what new flowers are blooming because it seems as if bursts of pink, yellow, purple and all the colors of the rainbow are just growing by the minute and there is always a new blossom to discover! I’ve gone on lovely long walks and found magical arrays of tulips blooming in the sunshine, the most colorful flowers waving their happy blossoms in the breeze and endless bursts of bright pink azaleas straight from an enchanted land…

I visited my favorite cherry blossoms, shining shimmering pink against the blue sky, on a beautiful day that seemed impossible after so many grey ones. For even though spring arrived in a glorious splash of color and sunshine this year (it seemed as if it happened all at once!) the weeks leading up to it were cold and windy and it just seemed impossible that flowers would ever bloom…but I had to hold onto the hope, because just like the tiny buds that somehow magically erupt into glorious flowers…it just takes time! And it look a little extra time this year, but it was so worth the wait…

I’ve been infusing my sparkling flower jewelry with extra springtime happiness to give it even more shimmer, shine and flower fairy magic! Each glistening flower somehow magically finds blooms in nature that just match it perfectly, like my flowers are finding a friend out in a world…and it’s wonderful too because that means whenever I wear a sparkling flower (always!), I find the most beautiful flowers. I truly recommend it ~ if you need to brighten up your day, just put on a glistening bloom and you’ll be so much more likely to notice the glorious flowers you see out and about!

One of my favorite days was when I went to the New York Botanical Gardens to see all of the glorious spring flowers blooming there. It had been a busy week and I was a little tired but as soon as I arrived and saw the beautiful arches of soft pink cherry trees framing the entrance, I knew it was worth the journey…it’s always worth going on a floral adventure!

Some of my favorite spring flowers are the wonderful magnolias, often the first to bloom in my neighborhood, so I had already said goodbye and see you next year to those brilliant pink blossoms but guess what! I ended up venturing into a new part of the gardens that I never had before, Magnolia Way, not having any hope or even tiny thought that the trees would still be flowering but as I walked over the hill, I saw the most glorious pink haze in the distance…

Not only were the magnolias somehow magically in full bloom, they were the biggest ones I had ever seen! The trees looked like pink castles with their branches reaching so wide and creating beautiful arches over the ground, so you could get lost among the pink blossoms in a world of fairytale happiness. It was the most beautiful sight (I didn’t even know that magnolias could grow that big!) and it gave me so much joy…and reminded me that it’s always worth exploring somewhere new, because you never know what magic you’ll discover!

When I came home that afternoon, full of sunshine and visions of the most colorful blooms, I immediately started growing new flower jewelry, full of all that springtime happiness, color and sparkle…and with lots of flower fairy magic, of course! I’m dreaming up shimmering new blossoms perfect for flower fairy queens to wear while frolicking beneath the magnolias and enjoying springtime soirees full of daffodils and butterflies…

Once upon a time in my enchanted garden, two magical flowers started to bloom ~ they were small yet oh so bright, containing every hue of neon green, bright orange, ocean blue and glistening gold, all adorned with endless rhinestones and surrounding a center of sunshine yellow and pink. But these flowers weren’t done blooming yet, for the petals were truly magical and also bloomed on the other side in beautiful hues of pink and purple (with even more rhinestones!). Once upon a time in my enchanted garden, a magical flower began to bloom ~ each petal unfurled with shimmering glitter and rhinestones, one right after the other, in every color of the rainbow…and each one was so bright that all of the butterflies came to dance upon them, adding even more shimmering magic. These flowers were so different yet grew so happily next to each other as they waved in the breeze and the butterflies fluttered among them. And so they magically grew together, entwining upon the same golden stem, forming one beautiful bracelet fit for a flower fairy queen!

Hello from my enchanted garden! The slightly longer days and warmer sunshine and hints of blue sky have given me so much hope for spring, and I’ve been in my enchanted garden growing magical new flowers full of all that hope, color, sparkle and joy to remind us that sunnier, better days will be here before we know it! The rhinestones are shimmering and the glitter is glittering and these vibrant flowers are almost in full bloom ~ they’ll be ready to be picked and adorn you on Friday, March 7th! Here’s how they’re coming to life in my enchanted garden…

These shimmering flowers I’m growing are some of my favorites yet ~ huge rings blossoming with all the rainbow colors, bracelets blooming with glorious tropical hues…all of the vibrant summertime happiness that I miss so much, infused into each magical flower sparkling with endless glitter and rhinestones!

I’ve also been growing, slowly and carefully (all good things take time to bloom!), a super special necklace with so many layers of sparkling petals. As each petal unfurls, it’s a new surprise of color and joy and my enchanted garden is simply shimmering with magic while this new flower blooms…

Also! You might remember this shimmering necklace that I’ve been growing for quite some time ~ its glitter petals started unfurling last summer and it slowly blossomed with more and more rhinestones…growing takes a lot of time sometimes! But it’s always so worth it in the end, for this magical necklace bloomed upon the most beautiful gold chain with pearls, gemstones and crystals. Three shimmering flowers, all dancing with the prettiest hues of turquoise, rose pink and purple…with many more colors of course!

As I’ve been dreaming up these magical new blooms, I’ve been picturing them adorning flower fairy queens attending an enchanted midsummer soiree ~ the perfect antidote to winter weather! I imagine us putting on these glistening rainbow blooms until we’re simply covered with all the color and shimmer (flower necklaces flower bracelets, flower earrings, flower rings…the more flowers, the better!) and then placing the brightest flower crowns upon our heads for even more sparkle and magic and then dancing with the butterflies while wearing beautiful silk gowns…

I hope we can make these soirees a reality one day! In the meantime, I hope these new flowers take you far away to an enchanted party full of sunshine, rose tea, lots of sweet treats, wonderful music and the happiness of summertime! Ooh and a magical, sparkling pair of flower earrings is blooming too ~ see them shimmering in the photo below!

It was a freezing cold and windy day winter’s day and sunshine, warmth and tropical flowers seemed impossible and so far away…but thankfully, it was the opening day of the Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden which meant that a tropical haven of color and joy awaited! The magical orchid show always comes at just the right time, when I’m so tired of winter and truly can’t bear more cold days and miss the summertime flowers so much…it’s always a miracle to get off the train and walk through the snowy grounds of the gardens to the beautiful Victorian glasshouse and step inside. I look around and I am instantly transported to a tropical paradise, forgetting the freezing day outside…

Colors upon colors and so many layers of bright and beautiful blooms everywhere I turned! Each surface was just covered with cascades of rainbow orchids stretching towards the warm sunshine and blue sky as I breathed in the the floral scents ~ it was like being instantly whisked away on a vacation, the “real” world outside completely forgotten.

These magical orchids were growing upon walls of the brightest purples, pinks and oranges, inspired by the vibrant and bold designs of Mexican modernist architect Luis Barragán. I loved this because it added even more color to the beautiful orchids and more color always means more happiness and joy!

I had to get closer and look at the vibrant orchids! They were blooming in every shade of pink, magenta, fuchsia, lavender, purple, coral, orange and yellow…a true rainbow of all the happy, tropical, summertime colors! And each flower blossomed in its own unique shape ~ looking at each one was like admiring a jewel. And the best part was, there were more and more orchids as I walked through the glasshouse, room after beautiful room filled with different types of blooms, like a magical orchid paradise…I think the show had more flowers than ever before!

I brought my sparkling new flower jewelry with me (I needed those bright talismans to ward against the cold winter day!) and I was so happy to see how they matched the orchids perfectly, they were right at home among the tropical blooms. I like to think that the vibrant orchids infused my flower jewelry with even more color, sparkle and joy, like a sprinkle of magical fairy dust…

And there was even a magical blue tree, covered with bright pink orchids…it was straight from a fantasy land which is truly what the orchid show is ~ a tropical haven of color and joy where every surface is blooming with flowers! I didn’t want to leave, I wanted to stay in the warm and sunny glasshouse admiring the endless orchids and discovering beautiful new blooms…

I hope the orchid show brought you lots of color and joy too (and a little vacation from the freezing winter!). Hello! I hope you’re all doing well! I love the beautiful yellows and reds of the leaves in autumn, and the crisp breeze is always refreshing, but I’m a flower fairy so spring and summer are definitely my seasons and I’m always a little sad when the cooler weather arrives…it’s so easy to feel dreary and grey as the days grow colder and shorter! What has helped lift my mood so much during these autumn months has been to get bundled up (wearing lots of sparkling flowers of course!) and go out to search for color and joy! Because there are still flowers blooming, even when the skies are grey…

I went on a mini floral adventure to the beautiful New York Botanical Gardens, hoping to catch the last of the flowers blooming….I found spots of color here and there, but I was distressed at having ventured here too late in the season. My feet were already getting tired (I was even thinking of going home!) when I walked up the beautiful Lilac Hill (where sadly the lilacs were slumbering until spring) and there in front of me was the magical rose garden in full bloom! The roses were having their second flush of blossoms, so full and bright and vibrant just like it was June instead of grey October. It took me back to summertime and joy and sunshine and I sat among the bright pinks, oranges and reds, feeling like it was surely a dream and that this garden was truly magical…

But I haven’t even needed to venture that far for flowers! I’ve been going for lots of flower walks in my neighborhood ~ spotting bright and colorful blooms even when doing mundane errands, as if all the flowers are saying “I’m still blooming! You just need to take a moment to look for me!” And these blossoms have brought me so much joy, along with ideas for magical new flower jewelry…

I’m also so lucky to have some beautiful florists and flower shop cafes in my neighborhood and these magical places feel like a tropical oasis when I walk out of the blustery cold and into their warm fragrant air…and just look at these incredible, colorful flowers they have! I love sitting and having a tea while dreaming up new flower jewelry surrounded by all the vibrant blossoms…and bringing my favorite blooms home with me of course!

I’ve been dreading the days when the trees are fully bare and springtime just seems impossible. But! That’s why I have my enchanted garden studio, and why I grow my magical flower jewelry ~ to bring color, sparkle and joy to even the dreariest days! So I’ve been spending many happy hours growing and growing beautiful new shimmering flower jewelry, full of all the color and and happiness of these fall blooms that are so bright despite the grey skies…so new jewelry will be ready to pick soon! Dear Flower Fairies,

I needed a vacation this summer, to get out of the city and take a little break from growing my sparkling blooms (I love growing my sparkling blooms but even flower fairies need to rest sometimes!) so I ventured to Portland, Maine because it was nestled by the ocean and not too far away from my enchanted garden ~ I thought I was in for a lovely week of lounging by the water and seeing the beautiful pine trees Maine is known for. But wait! First things first, which was picking sparkling flowers from my enchanted garden to bring with me…packing is always more fun when it involves packing colorful and sparkling flowers! And I didn’t know how many vibrant flowers I would need for a beach vacation, but I knew how many I wanted which was a lot. Truly, you can never bring too many because you never know when you might need one to brighten up your day…

Sometimes (usually) I’m the most dressed up wherever I go, but that’s what makes me happy so that’s okay. I’ll put on a whole set of sparkling flower jewelry when I venture out of my enchanted garden for decidedly un-magical errands, but wearing shimmering color makes even those mundane tasks feel more special. Hence wearing all the vibrant flower jewelry to the airport for my early morning flight…

Okay! Now we’re all packed, colorful and sparkly at the airport (thank goodness, it makes flying much more fun!) and after a lovely (and short, thankfully!) flight, I arrive. I thought I was in for a week of sea breezes and swimming and quaint New England cottages and lots of lovely seafood ~ I did not at all expect a magical, colorful fairytale town simply bursting with the brightest flowers! I was so happily surprised from the moment I stepped out of the taxi and started to explore…

I hadn’t even planned on a floral adventure or taking photos or drawing in my sketchbook while in Portland because I didn’t think there would be so many wonderful flowers, if any at all! But then I arrived to cobblestone streets, cascading pink blooms, colorful and eclectic doorways and hidden alleys festooned with fairy lights and bursting pots of rainbow flowers straight out of a fantasy…

My tired feet and tired eyes and just tired everything were revived with a burst of inspiration and of course, a burst of joy from all of these magical flowers and excitement over going on a brand new floral adventure to discover all of the winding streets and Victorian homes and magical array of blossoms. I didn’t even know so many different (and colorful!) varieties of flowers bloomed by the sea! There were new blooms to discover around every beautiful historical corner of the Old Port…and it made me so happy that some of them just matched perfectly with the sparkling flowers that I was wearing, my flower jewelry fit right in too…

Magical flowers even bloomed right next to the bay, watching the boats sail out from harbor while the happiest bumblebees buzzed and the sun shone overhead…it was flower fairy heaven! I had never smelled such glorious wild roses before and the yellow goldenrod was even brighter than the sunshine. And I realized that I really never know where I might find inspiration and happiness, it can be in the most unexpected places…and I should never assume a place is a certain way before actually traveling there! Because you never know what you will find, especially if you keep an eye out for it and believe that fairytales can happen anywhere and that magical flowers can always bloom…

Everywhere I went, there were the happiest flowers ~ even growing on the hillside on the path down to the most famous lighthouse (the oldest one in the country!). I hope the ships that arrived to the coast here could see the waves of glorious yellow blooms in addition to the welcoming lighthouse…flowers must be missed out at sea! I wondered down enchanted paths, archways of bright green with slopes of wild roses and magical wildflowers on either side as the sun shone brightly overhead in the perfectly blue summer sky, it was a fairyland and an enchanted garden away from home…

On my last day in Portland, I went on one final flower walk to see all of the magical blooms and say goodbye (until next time!) and of course I discovered even more special flowers blooming along hidden alleyways I had never walked through before ~ it seemed like they were beckoning me to stay. I wish I could have stayed for a little bit longer, Portland was truly a magical land, but I was also beginning to have the very first inklings of new flower jewelry in my imagination ~ flowers full of every bright color I had seen and the brilliant magic of all these glorious flowers I had discovered, just waiting to be created in my enchanted garden when I arrived home. Those first few glimmers of a new blossom and my fingers itching for my magic wand to make it come to life…it meant that it was time for my sketchbook, to play with color and happiness and draw the magical blooms I couldn’t wait to grow when I arrived home…

And so when the morning of my departure arrived, I took one last walk by the sea to bid farewell to the oceanside blooms of pink and yellow…and I even discovered the biggest hibiscus I had ever seen, growing right by the harbor next to the sailboats swaying in the breeze! And I wandered along my favorite cobblestone streets to say goodbye to all of the magical, inspiring flowers blooming there…

And after one last chocolate donut for even more happiness and joy, it was time to return home to my enchanted garden, which is, after all, my favorite place in the world. I couldn’t wait to grow new flowers infused with the sunshine and sparkle and rainbow array of glorious summer colors from Portland, flowers that will keep us warm and happy and full of joy as the cold winter months arrive here, flowers that are unapologetically brilliant and vibrant and bold as an endless enchanted summer…and flowers to remind us that there is often happiness and joy where we least expect to find it…

Hello my fellow flower fairies! It truly feels like summer now (I hope you’ve been having a good one!) and every time I step outside, there is just so much color and joy bursting around every corner…it’s endless flower jewelry inspiration (and an instant boost of happiness too!) so I wanted to share some with you…I hope it’s also been sunny and wonderful wherever you are!

And I hope you’re finding lots of color and joy out in the world too! I’ve found that if you’re on the lookout to notice moments of happiness and pops of color, it makes your day so much better because you truly do notice the good parts more than the bad. Whenever I find myself feeling down, I seem to notice more grey and bleak things that keep me feeling down…it’s hard to get out of that cycle! But then a glimpse of a bright flower blooming can turn my whole day around, so I’ve been trying to remind myself to notice joy in the first place.

It’s hard sometimes, especially when so many truly terrible things are happening in the world, but it’s always worth it because I think it’s easier to deal with the hard stuff when you’re feeling bright and sunny yourself. That’s what truly inspires me to create my magical flower jewelry ~ so we can all have that little glimmer of hope and that pop of color to turn our day around whenever we’re feeling grey…and it’s nice to have a colorful flower with you in case you don’t have the chance to go on a flower walk or visit a garden!

I’ve found that wearing color (especially colorful flowers!), makes it so much easier to find color and joy out in the world too…whenever I’m wearing one of my sparkling flowers (I’m usually wearing multiple blooms!), I always end up spotting vibrant flowers I had never noticed before…and often these flowers match my jewelry! It’s truly flower magic and I hope the same happens to you when you’re wearing shimmering blooms, I have a feeling that it will!

Finding so many glorious flowers blooming in my neighborhood, some of which I hadn’t even noticed before, has inspired me to get out for more walks too, although it’s so tempting to stay in my enchanted garden and grow more blooms! I love being at home but it’s wonderful to get out and explore the world sometimes, I always find more beauty and good things and good people than I think I will. Even flower fairies need to get out and about, and we’ll have the whole of winter to hibernate!

So whenever I have a chance, and whenever it’s a beautiful sunny day (and sometimes when it’s cloudy! After all, that’s when we need bright flowers the most), I’ve been going on lots of long and lovely walks to discover these magical blooms…and with my head full of all their brilliant colors, I’ve back home to my enchanted garden to grow my own magical flowers full of every summer hue for you with lots of glitter, rhinestones, gemstones, crystals and extra flower fairy magic!

I hope these new flowers will be full of all the summer happiness and will bring that joy to you if you need an extra dose of summer color or if you’re somewhere cloudy and grey without a ton of flowers! My new flower jewelry is not quite in full bloom yet but here’s a little peek into how they’re growing in my enchanted garden…I’ll be adding even more color, sparkle, shimmer and joy inspired by these beautiful summer months and I’ll let you know soon when these new blossoms will be ready to be picked!
